Kreatif, Karya Unik dan Artistik dari Seni Airigami (Seni Merangkai Balon)

Airigami adalah seni melipat dan merangkai balon. Biasanya khusus untuk membuat patung dari balon lateks. Seni ini pengembangan dari seni melipat kertas "Origami" dari Jepang.

Patung pemain sepak bola adalah patung balon terbesar di dunia. Dibangun dari 40.781 balon yang tidak bulat. Tidak ada framing, garis, lem, atau dalam hal apapun di luar balon lateks.

Semuanya digambarkan (kecuali foto dua desainer diatas), termasuk orang-orang, tujuan, dan rumput terbuat dari balon. Sebanyak 44 orang bekerja pada proyek ini dalam berbagai cara dan tugasnya masing-masing.

Pembangunan patung menghabiskan 640 jam kerja. Patung itu memiliki tinggi 25 kaki (7,6 meter) dan lebar sekitar 80 kaki. Setiap pemain sepak bola yang ada mempunyai tinggi sekitar 40 kaki (12 meter).

Patung balon ini bernilai sekitar £ 12 juta. Tinggi 3m (10ft) model stainless steel, yang menyerupai balon twisted, adalah pekerjaan yang paling berharga dan signifikan oleh Jeff Koons untuk dijual di Eropa.
